Topic: Downsizing - Part III

ALL ARE WELCOME

FREE

By request we have invited Sherri Krause back to continue our discussion on downsizing. Also, Pam Katunar, Investment Advisor with TD Waterhouse will discuss the potential financial implications of downsizing and present what a sample financial plan could look like. This is a way to begin answering that important question: What and where can I afford to live if I choose to downsize?

Goward House, built in 1908, is a heritage house situated in the Cadboro Bay area. In 1991 Goward House opened as an activity centre for adults. It is operated by the non-profit Goward House Society, in conjunction with a full-time co-ordinator and many enthusiastic volunteers.

Goward House is a place where adults come together to meet friends, keep fit, learn new skills and refresh old ones in a warm and friendly environment. All members are encouraged to participate in the daily life of Goward House and to make it their own. If you are interested in volunteering, we have many opportunities. We welcome new members and encourage you to drop by and try out an activity before joining Goward House. While you are here, why not enjoy lunch or a cup of coffee in our tea room?

Goward House is also a well known arts venue in Victoria featuring month-long art exhibitions by emerging and established artists.

Special Events!

The mission of Goward House is to provide a vibrant activity centre combining fellowship with social, educational, and special interest programs for Greater Victoria residents aged 50 and over.
