The adjacent map shows eleven priority locations for woodland restoration in the period from 2010 to 2014, to supplement areas where non-native plants were removed from the Goward woodland between 1990 and 2009. We welcome new volunteers from Goward House Society and from the local community to assist with this woodland restoration project. 1-Ivy removal fronting Arbutus Road (2010-2011)

2-Blackberry removal, footpath upgrade and conifer planting (2010-2012)

3 and 4 - Second phase of Saanich Legacy Foundation lower garden upgrade (2010-2012)

5 - Ivy removal adjoining the rear of 3912 to 3928 Rowley Road properties (2012)

6, 7, 8 and 9 - Ivy removal to expand edges of pre-2009 ivy clearing (2010-2013)

10 - Ivy and holly removal near Arbutus Grove Children's Centre (2012-2013)

11 - Ivy and holly removal in large area fronting Haro Road (2013-2014)
