Jill Rockwell

Jill has had a lifelong relationship with art, and since childhood dreamt of being an artist. After graduating with a few degrees from University of South Florida, she worked in private galleries and at the Tampa Museum of Art. Now that she has moved home to the Pacific Northwest, she is happily pursuing her dreams. Jill just loves the act of making art in many forms, and keeps acquiring ideas and skills with every project's unfolding. She will try anything new to explore and create textures, both on canvas and in precious metal jewelry art objects. She is fascinated by age, history, and the textures it leaves behind to tell its story on objects, which she incorporates into her work, making art an element of everyday life.
