Anne Weicker was born in Duncan B.C. and raised in Victoria.

Anne has always been creative and has found many avenues to explore her creativity through various art mediums.

She began taking photos at an early age while traveling with her parents. The many family camping trips were her first inspirations in creating memorable photos.

Anne has traveled extensively through Europe, Russia, Haiti and North America. Her travels are a constant source of opportunity to explore her photography.

Nature has always been her primary interest, although recently, Portraits have become a new challenge and fascination for her.

Anne’s desire for “Capturing Beauty” continues to expand. Her skills improve with technical training, while her vision of beauty is constantly evolving.

Anne was honored to be accepted into the Sooke Art Show.

Anne shares a show yearly at the Saanich Municipal Hall with her Uncle Joe Girard and Aunt Mickey Clay.

Anne's works are permanently on display at The Sidney Artists Gallery.
