Ian Waterlow

Ian has painted with the group since 1993. He began painting in the early 1970’s using oils, but changed to watercolour upon coming to the coast in 1980. His art education comes from practice, practice, practice and a few workshops with well known artists. Ian loves the outdoor painting opportunities. "As a watercolour painter, I like to try and catch the scene before me as realistically as possible, but not photographically. I enjoy the challenge it brings me. I am just a painter having fun and hoping my results bring some pleasure to the viewer."
