I began painting two years ago to fill the emotional void that comes from having an empty nest and moving to a new city. I quite simply lose myself in the sheer joy of applying color to an empty canvas. I paint subjects that reflect my love of my family, travel, and the beauty of nature. I find the medium of acrylics allows me to explore in a spontaneous and muti-layered context. Like my life I love the endless possibilites found in new beginnings.
