Balancing in a Rowboat while painting a waterscape can be challenging – but there’s plenty of water to dip into for that salty watercolor! Purposely changing my lifestyle from an Interior Design career, Ceramist, and single parent, to traveling and sailing round the world, gave me a different life view. A bonus was that it also freed up time to pursue a lifelong interest - drawing and painting. My sketches bring back memories of sun-drenched anchorages – little wonder that light fascinates me – as do boats!! Having left life afloat last year and settled in beautiful Victoria I am now looking at the land with fresh eyes - and evolving! At present I am concentrating on pen and ink sketches and watercolors.
