I paint completely for the joy of it and hope to share some of this with the viewer.

For the first years of my painting career I focused on watercolour & although challenging, I loved the blend of colour & paint & the magic they created. While looking for a way to express more texture I discovered stained paper collage and began to 'paint with paper'. The handmade papers are perfect for nature's textures. Recently I have begun to use many different media in my creative abandon. Exhausting work and complete bliss overlap one another. The 'wow factor' is still there for me, when paint streams across paper.

My work has been juried for Sooke Fine Arts (10 years), Sidney Fine Arts (2 years), and won honourable mention at the Federation of Canadian Artists' Shows. My paintings hang in private collections around the world.
