Fran Wood

Fran Wood currently lives in Saanich, British Columbia. She spent twelve years in the Okanagan Valley in the nineties where she pursued her passion for watercolour painting on a serious level. She was a supporting member of the South Okanagan and Similkameen Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) where she studied under Alex Fong, Ethel Hewson, Robyn Lake and many other talented artists. Currently an active member of the FCA Victoria Chapter, Fran has developed her talent under notable art instructors: Ann Hunter, Marney Ward and Kit McDonald. Her work has reached private collections in North America and Europe. Fran is inspired by the work of the Impressionists and plans to continue painting for the sheer enjoyment.
