Paintings by Sandra Didrikson Locke

Sandra has recently retired after 25 years of teaching visual arts in the high school on Salt Spring Island where she lives with her husband on their hobby farm. Sandra has been painting all her life, and studied fine arts at U of A in Edmonton, Alberta. Her drawings and painting have been shown in local galleries on Mayne Island, Salt Spring Island and Victoria.

Although primarily an oil painter, Sandra's exploration of art includes a full range of mediums including print making, water colours, ink drawing, fabric arts and hand built clay modeling.

Sandra has a son, a daughter-in-law and one grandchild.
