Evelyn Sisler Beaton

I have always been interested in making art; the process provides both delight and challenge. Very aware of my surroundings, I enjoy the rich variety of the natural world. I choose to paint subjects which have meaning for me and hope to share my enjoyment of them with the viewer. After living in Ontario and Saskatchewan I moved to Victoria in 2006. I have been a high school English teacher and a potter. Perhaps the favorite of my volunteer activities was ESL tutoring. B.A. Toronto, minor in Art History B.Ed. Saskatchewan, major in Art I have studied painting with such artists as Clint Hunker, Jack Reid, Linda Kemp, Degan Lindner, and very many more.

Benita Blundell

Benita was born and raised in the rural town of Maple Bay, just north of Victoria British Columbia. Influenced to start drawing by her grandmother, Benita soon discovered she had a talent for impressionistic art. Benita attended the Vancouver School of Art and over the years has continued to study and practice impressionist watercolours. Her studies and search for new subjects have taken her through Canada, Asia, Europe and South America. Her work has been exhibited in the Broadmead Gallery, the SookeFine Art Show and in many private showings. Benita continues to enjoy experiencing her work through the eyes of others and hopes that you find her work reflects your memory of a special time and place that is often overlooked.

Charles Dool

Charles brings beautiful botanical floral paintings to the group, ranging from engaging presentations of simple common flowers to flamboyant displays of exotic flora from many parts of the world.

Joe Girard

I love to do rural, nature and shoreline scenes reminiscent of my youth and of coastal BC History. I took up watercolours at retirement after my wife suggested I might be a bit of a trial around home without a hobby. I am very grateful for the suggestion as it has been a joy these last fifteen years.

Shirley Roberts

I enjoy painting old cars, children and Mother Nature in all her stages. The flow of colours together with paint textures inspires me to bring nature to life in a new way-on paper.
