As artists, we are explorers – exploring what a particular image means to us individually, what resonates and inspires, what moves us in expressing the essence of a particular tree, for example. In doing so, we hope to convey what we see in that tree, that image, as well as engage the viewer in her/his own experience of the image. These paintings are expressions of exterior landscapes and still life as well as interior landscapes of the imagination, and where they connect.
