I have been painting, on and off, for many years, first in watercolor, then oils, and now, since retiring from teaching, exclusively in acrylics on canvas. I have no particular philosophy in my paintings other than trying to make them visually attractive. And no special theme or subject matter. This show depicts places around the world which I have visited, or would like to, and others that exist only on the canvas. Photographs I have used are simply images which I adapt for purposes of composition. Consequently, while some of the titles name the sites, the viewer who has been there might say, “It didn’t quite look like that to me.” Put it down to artistic license.

The revenue from this show will go to world relief and development, via an Anglican-sponsored agency which has an extremely low overhead and that is monitored by, and receives matching funds from, the Canadian Government.
