This show is about art and is our celebration of the pleasures of making art and of living in a time and a community where such pleasures are supported. We make art simply because it is a way we find to understand the world. We 'reflect' on the world around us as we study the way light moves on water, the way water moves over earth, the way earth moves into human and animal form, the way air animates it all. Joanne also reflects on the unseen, the unconscious, in her ‘bottled’ series (Suzanne affectionately calls this Joanne’s ‘brainiack’ work) and human communications becomes visible. Expect plenty of colour, liveliness and variety. We want it to be accessible, fun, challenging and amusing (just like we are). Please laugh with us as we celebrate life.
